Camawald Cottage is situated on a sheep and cattle farm in the heart of the renowned wine growing area of Coonawarra.It is nestled amongst giant red gums and surrounded by vineyards and farmland.

The cottage is ideally set up to accommodate a couple, two couples or a family group, with a queen sized bed in bedroom one, two singles in bedroom two and a queen sized sofa bed in the living room.
Each bedroom has ceiling fans and a spacious ensuite bathroom with a washing machine in bathroom one.
The living room is well equipped with a R/C airconditioner, large TV with DVD/CD player and a variety of movie DVDs available. For additional entertainment a chess set, boule set and a variety of children's board games are available.
Two leather Jason recliner rockers and a very comfortable large couch complete the seating arrangements.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped and the dining area includes a six person table setting. Provisions for a full breakfast are supplied each day.
Beautiful views from the front verandah can be enjoyed with casual seating provided. The southern aspect of the cottage features a large covered raised decked area as well as a table and chairs ideal for alfresco meals or simply enjoying the view over the garden.
A lawn tennis court is just south of the cottage. The large gazebo overlooking the court, houses tennis equipment as well as a barbecue for the use of patrons.

Camawald garden covers 10 acres and has often been opened for Australia's Open Garden Scheme.It features a magnificent example of a 500 year old red gum. In addition to other red gums there are also many large exotic trees set in expansive lawned areas. Landscaped garden beds display perennials and an extensive array of heritage and modern roses.

Camawald is a small working sheep and cattle farm and tours can be arranged. The interesting breeds of hens that supply the farm fresh eggs for breakfast can be viewed and fed. Fresh herbs from the vegetable garden can be picked.
