Enjoyed our stay..........

Hi Margaret and Peter,

After leaving Mallacoota on Saturday, we spent the night in Paynesville, visiting friends on Raymond Island. We left the next morning, having to travel through dense fog to Rosedale,
after which it was easier to see into the distance, but itdidn't clear until we'd reached Traralgon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Adobe Flats and would certainly love to call again, and would like to thank you both for turning on such good weather!! We had a great time walking
through the national park and by the lake into town, and loved the cliff-top walk from Betka Beach.

I was glad that you'd left a book on birds in our flat as I was able to identify some birds I hadn't seen before, such as the pigeons and the red-browed firetail. We loved the bird life, and even though we missed seeing the bandicoot, we did have a visit on two nights from some active possums. And of course seeing lyrebirds is always enjoyable.

I was very impressed with your tamarillo plants, laden down with so much fruit. Haven't seen them for years. We grew some from seedlings my father raised and enjoyed the fruit.

Warm wishes,

Loved It.

Hello Margaret and Peter,

It was lovely to meet you both, I would like to thank you for our night's accommodation, we all loved the flats, getting down to nature with the array of birds and the little furry creatures was great. Particularly we would like to thank you for allowing us to leave our cars at your premises, it was convenient with the location of the Karbeethong jetty, Simon was informative and did a great job getting us safely across the inlet. Perhaps one day we will again visit your patch of paradise and would not hesitate staying at Adobe Mudbrick flats, the coastal walk through Nadgee National Park was absolutely beautiful, would love to do it again one day.

Cheers to you both

Testimonial

Hi Peter & Margaret,

We have arrived back home and are now back to the grindstone. It was lovely to receive your email and hope all went well with your recent operation Peter. We hope to return to Mallacoota later in the year, hopefully to try out our kayaking skills. It is certainly a beautiful part of Victoria and can see why you love it there. We had a truly wonderful time at Adobe Flats and hope to return again. Thank you for your hospitality.

Cheers

Elaine & Peter
