About Bongaree Caravan Park Bribie
Bongaree Caravan Park, Bribie Island, is located in South East Queensland, Australia. Bribie Island is connected to the mainland by a bridge, just 50 minutes from Brisbane. The park is located on the calm side of the island across the road from the beautiful Pumicestone Passage. The Bongaree Caravan Park is Bribie Island's only waterfront caravan park.
We have a large range of holiday accommodation available, including powered caravan sites, powered and unpowered tent sites, and ensuited villas and cottages.
One of the most enticing features of our caravan park is the location. We are located across the road from the beautiful Pumicestone Passage, right in the heart of Bongaree, on the western side of the island. This is the calm side, featuring lovely beaches, parks and picnic areas. The boat ramp is across the road and the Bongaree jetty is a short stroll along the beachfront.
Bongaree is also home to many other features, we have 2 bowls clubs (one located right next door to us), an RSL club, several quality restaurants and cafes, take away food shops as well as a range of retail shops and professional services including doctors, dentists and chemists.
The views from the caravan park are spectacular. We are right across the road from the waterfront and we have caravan and tent sites with water views, and our villas and cottages are located with uninterrupted views of Pumicestone Passage. This is especially spectacular at sunset as Bribie Island is one of the few places on the east coast of Australia where you can watch the sunset over the water. The majestic Glasshouse Mountains overlook the Pumicestone Passage and are a fantastic backdrop to this scene.
